Welcome to Mountain Girls Homestead! My name is Michelle and I'm an RN, a family Herbalist, certified Aromatherapist, and a certified Holistic Health/Wellness Coach. I was born and raised in Montana, where I live in the mountains with my family. I am an outdoor enthusiast. Hunting, fishing and camping runs deep in my blood. I have an organic garden in zone 3. I forage for and grow herbs from which I make my own home- made remedies. Holistic nutrition, baking/cooking from scratch, and making soaps and salves are my daily activities that drive this holistic homestead. My heart-felt passion is to share the knowledge that I have learned over years of research, trial, error, and persistence. I hope that this site will encourage you to start living a more holistic, homegrown, homemade, & self-sufficient lifestyle.
